Let’s see the before and after of the half bathroom. It was a full bath, the door was open from outside and no room to turn around🤷♀️.
We got rid of the tiny and ugly shower, and bought a litter robot for Eggies! Definitely Best Buy in Eggies and Louis’ entire 🐱🙎♂️ life👌. Louis cleared his 💩 for six years everyday and no more since last year. It’s almost no odor, but the litter will be split out a little when it’s spinning, not a big deal comparing with digging Eggies’ 💩 honestly 💁. We may move it to garage this year.
This vanity is same as kids bath, in black color. I love nothing on the counter expect plants and flowers🌸
7. Family room
hmmm, no comments.
We painted the beams and mantel to black, and added two tracking lights under beams. Also sold my crate barrel console and sofa, this room looks so empty and makes me feel so happy. I don’t just like nothing on counter, also nothing in a room. That table will be move to outside in summer. And I need figure out where to put the tv and internet cable boxes since we don’t want a TV, otherwise we can hide them behind it.
These three furnitures I still keep for now. The pottery barn turner sofa is really cozy, both me and Louis can sit on it, pretty large and we are skinny💆.
This is the picture when we just sold the console, have to post it to show off✌️
8. Master Bedroom and Closet
It was… low ceiling, irregular space and ugly🤦♀️
We closed up the dormers and raise the ceiling from 7 1/2 ft to 10 or maybe 11ft. I don’t want the room all white, so we painted an accent wall. I was trying to pick some lighter color, maybe dark grey or blue, but our bed is this 💩 color. I’m only sure it would match black.
I love buying beddings. I bought a lot before we moved in, but no longer like them after we moved in… so I sold almost all of them.
We closed the old closet, it became a large master bathroom. Absolutely ❤️ it.
New closet is in the dormer, super tiny. It distressed me for a long long while. Finally I found out a new life style, just minimize everything that needs to be put in the closet. I threw away almost 95% of my cloths, shoes, bags. Now I don’t need to pick cloth every morning, because they are all my favorite ❤️
This is Louis’ side
Even it’s a tiny closet, we still have dress area 👗
9. Entryway nook
This one could be my favorite transformation last year. You can see details in previous post.
These are almost all remodels we did in 2016. Now we are planning our 2017 projects, more details next time✌️
